SawBorn at APF 2026: One Hell of a Weekend

APF 2026 was a pretty big moment for SawBorn.

For the first time, we had our own stand in the Buxtons tent, and I'll be honest — going into it, we were nervous.

It was myself, Cole, the founder of SawBorn, and Hector, our sales guy, representing the brand for the weekend.

We had one main goal:

Get out there, meet people and hear what they actually think of SawWrapz.

And we definitely got that.

From Nervous to Non-Stop

It didn't take long for things to get busy.

People started coming onto the stand, asking about SawWrapz, trying them out and telling us about their experiences.

Then people started recognising us.

I'd be walking around the show and people would come over and say hello, tell me they loved the product or ask about SawBorn.

Honestly, I felt famous.

That was one of the best parts of the whole weekend.

We'd built SawBorn from the ground up, and suddenly we were surrounded by people from the industry telling us they liked what we were doing.

Hundreds of SawWrapz Sold

The sales were huge.

We ended up being one of the top-selling products in Buxtons across the whole weekend, selling hundreds of SawWrapz.

For us, that was massive.

But more important than the sales was the feedback.

We were able to speak directly to arborists, climbers, forestry workers and other people who actually use chainsaws every day.

Hearing their thoughts, getting ideas and seeing people genuinely excited about the product was exactly why we wanted to be at APF in the first place.

The People

APF was also about meeting people.

We met loads of great people throughout the weekend, including Ian from Logs and Saws.

What a guy.

Ian also sells SawWrapz, and it was great getting to spend some time with him and see the passion he has for the industry.

We also met Dan from PoleClimbing, which leads nicely into another part of the weekend...

The 25m Pole Climb

Because apparently running a stand all weekend wasn't enough, I decided to enter the 25-metre Pole Climb.

And somehow...

I won.

I'll probably give that its own blog because there's enough to tell there, but winning it was definitely one of the highlights of the weekend.

And Then There Was the Urinal...

One of the funniest moments happened when someone started telling me how good SawWrapz was...

while standing next to me in the urinal.

He then realised who I was.

It's probably not the usual place to receive customer feedback, but I'll take it.

At that point, I knew SawBorn was getting noticed.

The Bigger Picture

The atmosphere at APF was incredible all weekend.

It was busy, positive and full of people who genuinely care about arboriculture, climbing and the industry around it.

For SawBorn, the weekend showed us just how far things are starting to move.

We went in nervous about whether people would care.

We came out having sold hundreds of SawWrapz, made loads of new connections, strengthened existing relationships and heard some incredible feedback from the people we make our products for.

That's what APF was really about for us.

People. Community. Feedback. And seeing SawBorn grow right in front of us.

A massive thank you to everyone who came to the stand, bought a SawWrapz, gave us feedback, said hello or supported us throughout the weekend.

We won't forget it.

And this is only the beginning.

SAWBORN.

Built for the people who use their saws.
